Europe at home

We might stay apart, but the desire for shared life and creativity goes beyond any closed door.

Together with 14 other cities in Europe, Plovdiv is part of the initiative Europe at home platform.

In partnership with the local independent media Pod tepeto, Plovdiv is presented by its emblematic toposes through the author texts by Theodor Karakolev and photos by Georgi Matov.

The project purpose to inspire local writers and photographers, with their texts and photographs, present a view of their city during the global pandemic crisis.

The concept is an idea of the Portuguese city Faro 2027 a candidate for the European Capital of Culture in 2027 and the aim is creatively present the days of isolation in Europe.
