OPEN CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR TEMPORARY INTERVENTIONS IN PUBLIC SPACES AS PART OF THE OFFICIAL POSITIONING AND PRESENTATION OF PLOVDIV – EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2019
The current invitation is towards cultural and professional organizations, independent architects, curators, and artists from Bulgaria and aims to create new works to serve as a symbol of the European Capital of Culture initiative in the city of Plovdiv in 2019. The suggestions may include installations, sculptures, objects, functional and decorative design, interventions and identification of urban environment in public spaces that are directly related to the presentation of Plovdiv as the European Capital of Culture.
The call is dedicated to only Bulgarian based artists and will be implemented in two phases. The total budget of the call is 250 000 BGN.
