Plot:
Francis “Baby” Housewife (Jennifer Gray) is ‘normal’ young girl from the 60s. She wants to do something important with her life, to give it a good cause, a meaning. Her plans have changed when the dreamy idealist meets the talented dance teacher Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze). Johnny’s great passion is the ballet dancing and his teaching job, but the hot, sensual latin rhythm.
When Johnny’s partner get into trouble, Baby decides to help him and to save his career. The more Baby dances, the more she conquers the magic of this beautiful and sexy art. Then it comes to its logical resolution and they fall in love with madness. Will the two youngsters remain together? Will their passion help them? Or will the different backgrounds and the tough, conservative Baby’s father will separate them?
